The flexor digitorum superficialis is a muscle located in the forearm. It runs from the medial epicondyle of the humerus and the ulna to the middle phalanges of the fingers. The flexor digitorum superficialis primarily functions to flex the wrist joint and the proximal interphalangeal joints of the fingers.
