The Apexa Way
Your child is not a diagnosis.
They are potential in motion.
We started Apexa QLA to change the story families are told. Not "this is the limit" — but "look how much is still possible". Every plan we build rests on one belief: with the right intensity, the right tools and a family beside the child, the nervous system can keep learning. That belief is the Apexa Way.
Our commitment
18 promises to every family.
These are the commitments we make to every child and parent who walks through our doors — written down, so you can hold us to them.
- 01
We listen to you before we assess your child.
- 02
Every plan is built for one child — never a template.
- 03
You are part of the therapy team from day one.
- 04
We measure progress with objective data, not opinions.
- 05
We explain the "why" behind every method we use.
- 06
We meet your child where they are, with patience.
- 07
We never promise outcomes we cannot evidence.
- 08
We treat every family as a guest, not a case number.
- 09
We keep learning, training and improving — always.
- 10
We make the centre a place children want to return to.
- 11
We co-ordinate with your doctors and therapists at home.
- 12
We are transparent about costs from the very start.
- 13
We protect your child's dignity in everything we do.
- 14
We carry the progress home with you — not just in the centre.
- 15
A warm lunch, on us — therapy days include lunch for your child and for you.
- 16
A room for brothers & sisters — a play space so siblings are happy while you focus.
- 17
Your little one can nap here — a quiet rest space, and intensives that fit around sleep.
- 18
We work with your doctors — reports, calls and coordination with your paediatrician and specialists.
Our philosophy
Active, intensive, measured — on purpose.
Traditional therapy often waits. A weekly session, a passive stretch, a slow watch-and-see. For many children that simply isn't enough to drive real, lasting change. We chose a different path: active, intensive, repetition-rich therapy that asks the nervous system to keep adapting.
Why active over passive
Movement the child produces — reaching, standing, stepping, balancing — builds motor pathways in a way passive handling never can. Our tools (suits, suspension, stimulation, wearables) exist to make that active movement possible, safer and more frequent.
Why data, not opinion
We assess at the start, track throughout, and report at the end — with recognised tools like GMFM, Peabody-3 and ICF-Y. You see the curve, not just our reassurance. That is what ORCA — Objective Reasoning & Clinical Architecture — is built to deliver.
