What it is & why

PediaSuit, in plain terms.

The PediaSuit® Protocol is an intensive therapy programme using a specialised suit and individually-adapted exercises to improve posture, balance and mobility in children with neurological conditions.

Why we use it. ORCA chooses PediaSuit when a child needs concentrated, milestone-focused work — suit-assisted alignment and loading inside an intensive block.

Improves posture, balance & mobility Suit-assisted alignment & resistance For CP, delay, stroke, spina bifida, SCI, TBI Intensive, individually-tailored blocks

The how & the why

The how, and the why.

The methodology

The child wears a soft dynamic suit of elastic cords that gently realigns the body and adds resistance. Inside it, certified therapists run an individually tailored, intensive block of exercises focused on posture, balance and mobility.

Why it helps

The suit improves alignment and proprioception while the high-repetition protocol drives strength and motor learning — a combination built to make the most of an intensive therapy block.

Candidacy

Is PediaSuit right for my child?

Which children benefit?

Children with cerebral palsy, developmental delay, stroke, spina bifida, spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury — the protocol is tailored to each.

How is it structured?

As an intensive block of sessions over consecutive days or weeks, designed and delivered by certified specialists.

How do we know it's working?

Baseline and progress are measured with recognised tools — see assessment & tracking.

"The suit sets the body up; the protocol does the work. Together they make an intensive block really count."
