Rates reflect the centre's current published menu and are a guide to the cost range — final figures vary with each child's needs. We have worked successfully with insurers in Switzerland, Germany, the USA and other countries. How reimbursement works depends on where you live — the two paths are set out below.

In plain words

How fees work at the centre.

Every family arrives with the same question: what will this cost, and what exactly are we paying for? We believe you should never have to guess. Before anything begins, you receive a written outlay — one page, in plain language, with every session, assessment and tool listed in Swiss Francs. If something isn't on that page, you won't find it on your invoice.

A block is exactly what it sounds like: your child's sessions, the assessment and written report, all standard therapy tools, and parent coaching — bundled into one clear figure. There are no facility surcharges, no equipment "extras" appearing later, and a rest day never costs a thing.

Invoices arrive as standard Swiss QR-bills — one scan with your banking app and it's done. You can settle per block, or talk to us about staging payments in the way that keeps pressure off your family.

And when it's time to claim things back, we prepare every document your file needs — itemised invoices, therapy reports, prescription paperwork — ready for you to submit. We're not insurance specialists, but we make sure nothing you need from us is ever missing. If a question comes up along the way, our admin team is one message away.

Insurance & funding

How cover works at Apexa.

Families in Switzerland

Please speak with your Krankenkasse or the IV about your child's therapy — every policy is different, and we are glad to provide whatever documentation they ask for. One thing worth knowing in advance: for our REHA programmes (ORCA) we do not have agreements in place with Swiss insurers at this time. These programmes are considerably more extensive than standard therapy and are charged at a separate rate, which we will always set out clearly with you before anything begins.

Families outside Switzerland

We have worked successfully with insurers across the EU and beyond. In most cases the path is straightforward: you settle our fees directly, then claim them back from your insurer. We prepare everything your file needs — itemised invoices, therapy reports, prescription paperwork — and stay alongside you until the claim is closed.

For insurers

If you are an insurer and would like to work with us, we would be glad to hear from you. We offer agreed quotas to insurance partners, so that more families can reach care at Europe's leading paediatric therapy centre.
